But why build a Blog post. Property? Why make a blog a part of your web site? Isn’t it just one more thing to worry about, one more thing that has to get done each day or week? Well, keeping a blog does take some time and effort but the payout is enormous. There are so many advantages to adding a blog to your web site that, frankly, you really must have one.

If your blog is about marathon running, an article on your new iPad isn’t what readers expect. They expect good, solid information about training for their next marathon so stay on point.

Also, paid sites will have much easier access to customer service in case a problem arises. Often, a mere call to an 800 number can have a problem resolved immediately. With a free site, you will never get such excellent customer service. Remember, creating a blog must also incorporate a commitment to blog management. Without access to a blog service that provides proper customer support, managing the blog becomes a lot more difficult.

Great ideas alone are very unlikely to make you rich. There are many people who have become extremely rich without having a single ‘great idea’. The trick is not to focus on your idea but to concentrate on your execution. This unfortunately requires a large amount of work and dedication to making your idea succeed. Just remember that ideas can’t be patented.

Length, keep it long, but not too long. Make the article long enough to get your point across and online blogs get into detail add more over time to keep the lens fresh however do not make the article too long as it will bore the readers and you will not include the main details. Ten detailed lenses are better than fifty short un-informing lenses, you can also come back to a lens to keep it up- to- date with fresh information. A good length is 500 words the minimum should be at least 300 but I would recommend more so you have the right amount of detail but don’t bore your audience. If you feel as if your lens is too short you can add more at a later date but if your lens is too long you can break it up into smaller parts- for easier reading.
