Writing Blogs And The Art Of Traffic

Almost everyone can now not only have their own blogs with no money but can start making money online… using blogs. And the fact that search engines love blogs so much, most bloggers don’t have any problem with getting indexed by the search engines and getting completely free search engine traffic.

Savvy business people have realized that blogs can be an excellent way to promote themselves, their business, or make easy money. The most popular way that this is done is through Google Adsense. Using this, bloggers are able to sell advertising off of their blog and collect cash just for keeping a blog. Those with very successful blogs are raking in the cash simply off of their AdSense ads. It is very easy and free to start doing this, and many have cashed in, and in big ways. Some blog hosts have even allowed their users to ad AdSense using the same account, making it even easier to make money with blogs.

By writing regularly (my goal is 4 entries or “posts” per week), seldom does a week go by that I don’t add someone to my network or use what I am writing to make a new connection with an existing or potential Client.

But I always assumed that most bloggers would be like me and have some sort of comment approval policy in place. But then I forget, there are a lot of people running My profile for personal stuff and they simply don’t understand the whole spamming thing. So blog spammers take advantage of the ignorance of these bloggers and blast them with junk comments. And if their blogging software doesn’t use the nofollow tag in links then they just got themselves a link that some search engines (coughMSNcoughYahoo!cough) would record as valuable.

CommentLuv plugin is fantastic for both bloggers and blog commenters. It’s great for commenting because it places a link to your blogs latest blog post and in my experience many bloggers permit dofollow links to your blog. It’s great for bloggers because there’s a tremendous built-in incentive for people to leave a comment (especially if the commenter publishes a blog).

There are very many other forms of paid marketing. However, paid traffic is not always targeted, so be careful when using this method. You can simply do a search on Google and find the very best forms of paid advertising. There’s very many out there, you just need to do some research and find the right ones.

What I had thought was the worse thing to happen turned out to be the best thing. Had Google not sandboxed me, I probably never would have discovered the awesome marketing power of blogs!
