Invented in 1963 In 1963, the Company was founded in 1963 by Dr. Alvin Roth. Dr. Roth had been a dentist for a while before he realized that his passion for developing dental plastic products led him to develop this unique, patent-pending, technology that is now utilized in the production of all the advanced Quadrant engineering plastic parts. The most notable of Roth’s innovations are: His discovery of a method to extend the length of the material that is used in our components; he was the first person to use an actual additive in nylon; he was the one responsible for the creation of the nylon powder composition and manufacturing process; and was the sole inventor of the sandwich made from nylon. Nylon Stock Shapes – Roth invented the nylon stock shape using the aid of nitrogen-filled injection molding technology, he found that his nylon stock designs were nearly impossible to break. At first, Roth designed these stock shapes as a way to save space. Today, the stock designs of our most well-known products, such as bumpers and knobs, as well as slides, are in shape that is durable and virtually unbreakable. Nylon stock shapes can be made on a large scale using regular CNC machines. They are also very easy to work in. These stock shapes and other innovative nylon plastic parts are the reason our equipment is sturdy long-lasting, reliable, and long-lasting.
PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), and STP (styrene), Composites – These two groundbreaking engineering plastics were invented by Roth. They paved the way to many other types polymer composites. They are now used in high-tech equipment as well as industrial batteries among numerous other applications. Together, PVC and STP composites make lightweight, durable and robust industrial components that allow you to produce a wide range of products.
Ultraviolet Silicone – Roth is the next world leader in high-performance engineering plastics. It is an ingenious material that has transformed the global supply chain due to its superior resistance to ultraviolet light, specifically ultraviolet B radiations. Ultraviolet Silicone is ideal for outdoor signs and bumpers that have been damaged by the sun. It can also be used as thermal insulation materials as well as engine lubricants. The versatile material can be used in a variety of applications such as air bags, solar signs and high-performance engineering plastics.
Flexible Plastic Materials – Another one of the few engineering plastics that has been a leader in the global supply chain. This product is able to distinguish itself from other plastics by offering a greater variety in use across different industries. The durability and versatility of this product make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications. From its application in bumpers and shock-absorbing liners, to mechanical parts, to high-performance engineering plastics, UHP and ULP materials are now being used in a variety of applications.
Roth created Colloidal Polymer in 1998. It is a renowned leader in the supply chain for engineering plastics around the world. Colloidal Polymer has a natural look and is strong, flexible, and safe. It has a long-lasting cure time and is available in a variety of different particles such as PMMA, and polyimide. The material is also resistant to ultraviolet light and is highly resistant to wear and tear. The material can be used in a variety of applications including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and detergents as well as food items.
Nylon Fiber – Nylon Fiber is the fourth most favored fiber used in the world. It is a strong fiber with durability and strength as well as low maintenance. Nylon Fiber is a good modulus of compressive and tensile strength, but has low tensile or tensile strengths. It is used in a variety of applications including industrial, aerospace, automotive, household, and household. Nylon Fiber has a significant advantage: it is resistant to creep, which means it can last longer. It has excellent chemical and thermal properties, which make it a popular choice for numerous industries. Nylon is the fastest growing fiber, but it has the lowest compressive strength rating.
