Dr. Roth was a dentist who had previously developed a unique technology that is now used in all of Quadrant’s advanced engineering components. Roth was responsible for a number of innovations, including the discovery of a simple method to lengthen nylon materials and the development of the the composition of nylon powder and manufacturing process; as well as the creation of the nylon sandwich. Nylon Stock Shapes Nylon Stock Shapes Roth created the first nylon stock shape, and with the help of nitrogen-filled injection molding technology, Roth discovered that the nylon stock shapes were nearly unbreakable. Originally, Roth designed these stock shapes as a way to save space. Today, the stock shapes of many of our most well-known products, such as bumpers and knobs as well as slides, are in stock shapes that last and virtually indestructible. Shapes made of nylon can be made in large quantities using standard CNC machines. They are also very easy to work with. These stock shapes, along with other innovative nylon plastic components are the reason our equipment is durable, reliable, and long-lasting.
