Because I am transcribing the write-up about how do blogs make money, I’ve realized that a lot of my readers and close friends have no idea that bloggers have the ability to make money; a lot of money with blogs. First of all, you need to pick an interesting, unique, or lucrative niche. This can be any subject that you know people are already looking for answers. An easy and very effective way to do this is to use Google’s AdWords Keyword tool. It’s not a good idea to focus on a niche that you are not very interested in, because you may find it difficult to go writing about. It is better if you choose to focus on a single niche that you already love writing about and that you are somewhat knowledgeable about. Doing so is much like picking the online battles that you could win over.
One of the most important things to do when trying to keep up with multiple check out my pin is managing time. Bloggers need to budget their time and make sure enough time is being spent on each blog. Some of them may need more updating then others so how time is divided will depend on the bloggers. A blog that is made up of opinions and thoughts, are usually easier than a blog that requires research. Also, one blog may have to be updated every day while another only has to be updated weekly. Bloggers may want to schedule out specific time to spend on each blog in order to keep them all update and successful.
Generally the product can be yours, or it can be someone else’s product (this is called affiliate marketing). In many cases however, the product is simply a free offer that generally has a slightly higher priced up-sell to a “better offer”. A common product here is one that shows you how to get involved with internet marketing or methods of making money on the internet.
Since 2003, blogs have been increasing in popularity. People have blogged about current events, war, politics, television shows, television stars, terrorism, and almost any other topic you can imagine. Blogs are used to inform people about services and products by allowing people to post reviews of specific services and products. They are used to stay up-to-date on events that occur within families, clubs, organizations, and businesses. Blogs are used to swap recipes, to learn, and to vent. If you can think it, it is probably on a blog someplace.
Note that this approach is trial and error. Not every website you check out that links to your competitors will have dofollow comments. However, if the links are showing up for your competitor, there’s a chance you can get a link.
The quickest and easiest way to set up a blog (and it is free!), is to go to http://www.blogger.com and follow the directions. They say it takes five minutes. I admit that it took me a bit longer and I am still playing with it, but it is easy! Be sure to check out the many templates and also have an idea (or several) for the name of your new blog. Most of the common ones are already taken.
