One year ago, my father asked me, the young internet entrepreneur, “What’s a blog?” I paused for minute. I had heard the term before … but I couldn’t answer him. I honestly didn’t know. Little did I know that so many people would soon tap into a new type of gold mine and make money with blogs.
Bloggers who have a wide range of blogs also usually face difficulty in building back links for their check out my article. As you know, various link generating methods, whether by conducting article submissions or by forum commenting, all require continuous efforts on your part. You need to spend enough time as well as energy to generate adequate back links for each of your blogging site.
Just like any other kinds of websites, successful blogs provide unique and original content. This is the magnetism that makes people visit their web logs frequently. Unluckily, creating such content is not an easy task. Moreover, we have to keep them always up-to-date. These problems have caused many multiple blogs owners to rarely update their blog posts or to go for plagiarizing the contents from other blogs. These acts will result in their failure to attract frequent visitors as well as in gaining a good rank on search engines.
Just putting your blog online is not enough. Savvy business people have realized that blogs can be an excellent way to promote themselves, their business, or make easy money. The most popular way that this is done is through Google Adsense. Using this, bloggers are able to sell advertising off of their blog and collect cash just for keeping a blog. Those with very successful blogs are raking in the cash simply off of their AdSense ads. It is very easy and free to start doing this, and many have cashed in, and in big ways. Some blog hosts have even allowed their users to ad AdSense using the same account, making it even easier to make money with blogs.
And so I grrrrrrrrrr to myself, tear out my hair, and continue to blog. Yes I duplicate stuff that is on my business site, and articles I submit for submission, and I ad links to my own writing especially when it is published professionally.
I found one of these content thieves just the other day. They are a web hosting company that “re-published” my article, “Selecting a Web Host Provider that Meets Your Needs”. They also forgot to keep my bio information that came with the article and also failed to attribute authorship. I’ve sent them one email and, lacking any sort of response, I will contact Google and their web host provider informing them that this site is stealing content in violation of copy write. The ISP will be obligated to pull the site down until they have corrected the breach.
